GRG teaches climbing technique lessons on your schedule. Instead of cookie-cutter classes, we customize the session and focus on your needs. Lessons are taught to 1, 2, or 3 participants at a time. Get some friends together and schedule a lesson today.
Like a lot of activities, rock climbing improvement is a series of steep advancements and plateaus. When you hit a plateau, and don’t seem to be progressing, an hour-or-two lesson is probably the boost needed to get you increasing again. The lessons can focus on a wide range of topics: footwork, building-strength or endurance, route-strategy, roof-climbing, or anything you need.
If you want to learn to lead your own outdoor trips, we can teach you the fundamentals of anchor-setting, rappelling, lead climbing, and other skills that will make you safe to head North for a great weekend trip.

Some people climb at GRG to get in great shape. Our technique classes don't have to be about redpointing the next 5.x level of difficulty or getting ready for that summer road trip; our instructors can show you how to maximize your time in the gym to build strength and tone, or loss weight.
